Nick is head of commerce advisory at VML, supporting clients with strategic and tactical solutions. Leading the agency’s eCommerce consulting offer, Nick is an authority within WPP on commerce maturity & development, working closely with our client’s Global eCommerce & Digital teams.
Having spent over a decade working in retail across buying, category management and eCommerce, Nick has a retail & shopper mindset. He has an in-depth understanding of the entire value chain from operations to marketing and sales, applying a unique perspective across customer acquisition into conversion and building lifetime value. Nick has spent the majority of his career in Global and Regional roles and has a natural affinity for cross-cultural working. He has first-hand experience of the challenges and rewards of working in centres of excellence and the influencing skills needed.
Nick is a channel management specialist in the digital ecosystem, supporting clients with transformative projects that upgrade and rewire the operating system of their digital commerce routes to market. Recent projects include retail media operating model design for a global pet food leader, omnichannel transformation roadmaps for clients in the food and beverage and consumer health verticals, DTC vision, strategy and operations for several CPG clients and digital shelf excellence internal branding and communication for a global alcohol leader.
