Diane Schwarz is the Chief Information Officer of Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings. As the CIO, Schwarz leads the IT organization, developing and executing enterprise-wide IT Strategies to support Johnson Controls’ growth objectives. She has extensive experience in building and leading top-tier IT teams, previously serving as the Chief Digital and Information Officer for Hunt Consolidated, as well as working at Textron, Bell, and Honeywell. Schwarz’s responsibilities include overseeing digital transformations, cybersecurity, data analytics, infrastructure and cloud operations, ERP/SAP applications, and IT supplier management.

Schwarz holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition, Schwarz is a board member of NPower, a non-profit focused on creating digital career opportunities for military veterans and underserved communities, and T200, a non-profit dedicated to advancing women in technology.
